This is still my basic version, however, since my roommate bought a killer Belgian waffle maker, I've been accompanying my excessive amounts of becan with home-made blueberry waffles!  YUMMMMMM!!!!

Beag,  that's what you get when you ask for becan in UK.  It's the same as you're used to, just a slightly different cut.

It's definitely becan, but I'd probably send that back and ask them to cook it.
