My wife and I visited Fame Studios and Muscle Shoals Studio (@ 3614 Jackson Highway--as seen on the cover of the Cher album of the same name) this past summer for the tours.  It was a great slice of music history.  They're re-doing the Jackson highway studio so we were some of the last to see it before the remodel.  Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Paul Simon, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, Staples Singers, Rod Stewart, Bob Seger....the list goes on and on.

I've got pics of some of the gear they have there.  I'll try to dig 'em out for you guys.  My wife didn't really appreciate the sight of a Pultec, but maybe you all will. ;-)

I think next week we get the EZ Keys Southern Soul. Then a drum midi and a EZ Mix. I'm pretty jazzed for this stuff and will get them all eventually. I've been hoping for something different lately and this fits just perfect. The drums sound really good.

These drums are great.  Nice, un-hyped kits.

I stand corrected.  Memory is a fragile thing...at my age.  It was indeed Muscle Shoals Studio and not Fame where that session was held.  Thanks for the mental thump;-)

I fell off the wagon I'm afraid...There are a few new youtube videos up today and it look like there is a separate midi pack for this? Can anyone confirm? I haven't installed it yet, but I'm sure it comes with the typical midi.
