Unless TT is changing their model (or I never understood it in the first place) I was under the impression that a same name MIDI pack was ALWAYS included in the EZX. 

Yeah, I'm probably wrong. I hope so.

Ah...in the first video towards the end Toontrack is promoting a separate midi grooves pack called "Soul Grooves". That is what I was thinking of. So yes it does have the typical midi, but this Soul midi is different.

I wonder if that means its a model shift or if its been that way all along and I've been thinking I owned all the MIDI packs.
 
Not that I've missed anything. I use what there if it works. If not I got a ton of groove monkey MIDI too.

Yeah, I have a lot of midi too. Toontrack does have other midi that doesn't come with an ezx I believe (you know more about this than I do)...like the song writers pack, for example. I love the last update because now all of the groove monkee stuff works with the search or find thing.

I honestly haven't used the search/find feature. I'm old school. If I know I want a Country feel I use the browser to the Country stuff and audition there.

The search feature works very well. You should give it a spin. It can save a lot of time.

I've got my eye on this Southern Soul pack as well.  Somehow, I have resisted pulling the plug....so far.
