I hope everyone had a good holiday season and happy new year to all.
 
Well, I spent a bit of time trying out new songs during the past few weeks.  I was in a silly mood when I did this one but I think that most of us verbally-stingy guys can identify with it (especially those of us who have been fortunate enough to be with our wives for a long time).  Admit it guys - you wouldn't have it any other way.
 
I'm calling the style Bluesabilly because I tried to rip-off a bit of a Studebaker John blues sound on the rhythm but the overall feel and leads are supposed to have a touch of rockabilly (I hope?!.).
 
As always I will be grateful for any feedback and tips on how to improve.
I hope that you get a bit of a giggle from this one.

Great songwriting and lyrics, and a nice "live" sounding mix that makes me feel like I'm sitting in a roadhouse listening to a blues band.

Small crit Feddy. There's a hum just before the song starts. And I hear it in the "we need to talk dear" lines. I think it's affecting the whole mix.

Listen carefully right after the "hold on" line.
