What really pi$$es me off about this thread is that my real name is Frank, I'm 300lbs and I'm a truck driver.

That guy that went to England was an impostor.

And plus also, I'm funny.

Can I get in trouble for species bending?

Which is more entertaining? Semame Street or the Cakewalk forums?

Same form of entertainment, kids throwing toys out of pram?

Now you see how word useage can tell us a lot about a person's country of origin.  Note the use of the word "pram".  This is distinctly Japanese, as we in the U.S. would say "preamble".

(It took me a long time to figure out what "I like to push the pramalot" meant...)

yeah, Poco, but it also shows how we can jump to the wrong conclusion.  John (wookiee) is not Japanese nor does he live in Japan.

OK, I guess I have to explain the joke...  I know a pram is a baby carriage.  I know that it is a UK term, hence the reference to Monty Python.  Saying it was Japanase is so bass akwards I figured no one would take it seriously................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Then again I am a Border Collie\Chow mix and you are a Beagle.

well, in fairness tho, you didn't post the python reference until AFTER my post - I responded to your original post only.

and I have to admit that Border Collies are at least a little smart.  Never as smart as beagles, of course, but they are smart!

Anyone ever tell you you look a bit like Rick Warren?

That, my friend, is not a new revelation!  However, I would submit that Rick Warren looks like me

funny story about this.  on our church's website, we have scrolling images of church activites on the home page.  One of the pictures was of me singing (it has since been replaced with something else, so you can't go there and see it now).  a few months ago a young lady joined the church and the choir and asked me the same question.  she said that she had seen the church website before visiting our church and had thought that either Rick Warren had moved to Texas and started singing or there was someone in this church who looked a lot like him!

but I also submit to you now that I have lost over 50 pounds and so he doesn't resemble me as much as he used to!

How do you know he's not from Japan unless you've actually visited him at his home?
