It does seem to have a Celtic flair in he first part, however, I modeled the tune in the style of older tunes written about North American Indians. I modeled the second half after what I used to hear in early westerns, related to western North American Indians.

Hi Scotty , I finally got to listen to this tune . SoundCloud for some strange reason would not work when I tried to listen to your Christmas song you posted so I missed out on that but hey I really like what you did here .
You really captured that Native American sound  , very cool and as always your always on target  when playing any of your instruments .
