THE NIGHT FOX
I like the drum track and some of the other stuff going on but the mix didn't sound a good as it could be considering your using Sonar X2 .
Sounds like your going in a postive direction , cheers welcome to the forum and Happy New year to you !

Holy Crimson!  I love the interplay of the guitars and the drums in this high octane instrumental.  The mix sounds balanced and, the drums sound real and well balanced with the bass guitar.  FINE production!

Wow, what a great track! Love stuff like this, reminds me of Adrian Belew/KC. Wonderfully arranged guitars and drums..more please!

The Maillard Reaction

The rhythm guitar isn't tight with the drums.

If someone's really into hard, precise music... this sounds really loose... and not on purpose like it's swinging etc.

It seems like it's a composition about precise and exacting timing... but it's not precise and exact enough to express that concept.

I think I'm having this reaction because it reminds me of a passage or a break from a song I used to listen to many years ago and the comparison leads me to the thoughts I mentioned above.

I liked the overall concept and the approach of starting the song at full tilt.

Good stuff.

best regards,
mike

Well this really hits the ground running doesn't it? Along with the King Crimson references this takes me back to my Gentle Giant and Van der Graaf Generator days. Thanks.

This is very cool. Ignore the "thing" up there. It's plenty tight... unless you are trying to be a robot... which would make it suck.

Looking forward to hearing more of your stuff. Cheers.
