Which parts of Sonar did you use for the mix/recording of this song? Did you shoot the video yourself?

The video is a 40.000 $ budget my friend. It's a pro crew using the best camera around RED EPIC. 


I used Sonar X1 to create it :) 

That same budget is about what that camera costs. Very pro vid all around. I was hoping you might have been involved with the production. It would have been cool to hear some stories about what you did. X1 is certainly helping Cake and Roland achieve professional status. Up to now, I never felt Sonar was quite the equal to Pro Tools, (which is the first time I have admitted that here in the forums *cough* - I generally stayed out of those debates).

Well , let me know what exactly you would like to know and I will try my best to tell you. 
Sonar X1 is far better than pro tools and it costs 200 times less :) 
Even Fruity loops sounds better than Pro Tools. 
Pro tools is just a famous brand name , it's all about the results.

40.000 $ costs only the body of the camera. 
The total cost of the Camera , including the carl zeins ultra prime lens and memory hard disks + other hardware on the camera costs near 400.000 $ . 
I know huge budget but it's the only way you make real pro videos out there. 

I am curious about the financials. Did you (or your label) finance this directly, or was there a third party? I am also curious about the team that produced this. Are they music video specific? Whose concept was it, and who wrote the telefilm script? Where was it shot? A local film studio sound stage? I realize these are pretty direct questions... sorry, that is just the way I am.
