Loved George, but these two were a couple of steamers.

The bass playing in Old Brown Shoe is pretty killer though. 

I've always preferred Lennon songs and some of McCartney's output left me quite indifferent, but I've come to appreciate that he was always trying his hand at different forms.
 
Some of that stuff went way over my head, like When I'm Sixty-Four or You're Mother Should Know, but I've developed a taste for them, even if I don't seem to respond on a gut level as I do when I hear Lennon.
