Very nice Rich... I remember this from last year... I even thought about covering it myself... yes, this forum software hates my updated browser too... sucks all the fun out... kinda like X2...

Wow Rich, very well done here brother! A little roomy on the drums in my opinion and would have liked to hear a little more movement on them instead of the steady beat. Some crashes/accentuations during instead of just the end would have added more realness. Subjective of course...but I'm a drummer, what can I say? LOL! :) But other than that, this was great and I totally enjoyed it. Really healthy and big sounding. Well done! :)

Thanks Danny!  I agree with you about the steady beat of the drums.  This awas a canned groove from EZDrummer.  When I was doing the remix that was the first this I noticed.  But then I got side tracked with my "lack" of familarity of X2.  Right now it's leaving me frustrated at times anyway, I left it as is.  I should fix it otherwise everytime I hear this tune I'll be kicking myself wondering why I never fixed it.

I always struggle with Bass and drums.  What exactly are you hearing that you are charcterizing as "Roomy"?  I know the kick isn't sounding richt to me and that's partly EQ and compression.

Thanks for the listen and the comments.

guitarhacker - Thanks Herb

JSGlenn - Thanks for the listen and the comment!

Starise - Thanks, there are some many things I beat myself up about my voice.  Thanks again.

notnat - Thanks Frank.  You should do it.  It's such a classic song.  I'd love to hear your take on it.

As far as X2, I find myself making extra clicks and what feels like jumping through hoops to get the same thing done.  Granted, this may be that I'm still learning my way around the software.  Either way it has taken some of the fun our of the creative process.  I can only hope it gets better from here!

Scotty - Thanks for listening.  I really appreciate that nice comment.

Tony I missed responding to your comment.  Thanks!  Just knowing that you listened is humbling for me.  Dude you have sick vocals.  I checked out "The Christmas Song" this is one of my personal favorite Christmas Songs.  Very Very nice performance by all.  Very Take 6-ish rendition.  "Man This Note Is Long"  LMAO! very funny.

THEN!, I listend to your version of Please Come Home for Christmas.  Dude what an outstanding vocal performance! I HATE you!!!  LOL!  Cool video too.

I hope you don't mind me plugging your video for others to see/hear!
