I cant see any indication of price anywhere.
Shame they have reduce the size. I am not a great fan of "slimline" keys.

And I'm not a fan of only two oscillators and two polyphony!

The Minimoog had three oscillators but no LFO. The Oddesy had two oscillators and a LFO/Sample Hold. You usually want some LFO modulation so there differences are less than it would appeared. The Oddesy also had pulse width modulation.

You would have wanted one of the later models though with the much better filter.
Duo phonic was revolutionary in its day.
Of course its not a modern polyphonic work station but I am sure the reboot version will do its job very well.

Of course you can double the polyphony by buying two.

Hi,

I'm betting that Arturia's software of this instrument is far better and suited for today's musician than otherwise.

(Sorry ... the forum software hid the Arturia.com link for this software instrument)

I have the Jupiter 8 software ... now if I could get someone to teach me a few more things on it ... I would gladly pay for it ... specially how to get a sound to repeat itself (specially with more than one bar of music), and other trix like how to really use and understand the Sequencer. I still have not figured it out ... is it Martian, or Venusian?

Arturia do not make a v-synth of the Odyssey they do however do the ARP 2600 V

I think that if anyone will do a software version it will be Korg, which would be kinda nice.

As to a price Glyn around the £800 mark is what the Odyssey is being advertised.

Moshkito just read the manual the Jupiter 8 V is an absolute dream to program.

I did ... that's why I asked! For some reason, I can fool around all day long, but getting beyond that so I can record it and then do more over it, is where I am stuck. But using the Sequencer on top of it all while playing is not (apparently) the way to do it.
