Take care Rain. It could have been much worse. Take it easy for a few days.

Wow. Sometimes life happens super fast and in slow motion at the same time, particularly car accidents. One minute someone is laughing the next minute they are gone. There is always someone in the other lane texting, tuning the radio, digging around in the floorboard, looking around at the kids in the backseat, etc.. not to mention how many of them are on drugs (legal or illegal, and drinking) and there are way more cars and trucks on the roads than the roads were designed to handle. I have become a LOT more careful than I used to be.
Rain... I'm really glad you are both OK!!!!!

It has been 40 years since I've seen a Jack in the Box.

I am really happy you are BOTH OK! All you can do is be careful and have 'cat reflexes'!

Glad you're safe, man. Those close scrapes really make you think about stuff, eh? I've had my share and while some people seem to get some kind of "new lease" or whatever out of these things I personally am not a fan.

And what the heck is up with some drivers? So many people out there have absolutely NO business having a license.

On a positive note, the car they provided as a temporary replacement put a smile on my face and was enough to make me get over my apprehensions and back on the road.

None more black. :P

Wow. I'm in no way a car guy but that's even make me drool a little. What is that? A Stang?

Neither am I by any mean. But as it turns out, a black convertible Mustang can have that effect even on guys like us. :)

They really are the only "sports" car I've ever even had the remotest desire to own. I do not even know why. My "dream car" is a panel van with a pull out ramp to get stuff into it (including gimpy old me) and maybe some modest sleeping setup in the back for camping out. Totally logical and practical.

A Mustang? It has no benefit to me over any other car to get from point A to point B yet every time I see one (except for the ones built during the "suckage" period) I get a little jazzed.

Must be some underlying "dude" instinct kicking in. lol

Me I usually don't care for cars, unless it's older ones - mostly classic designs from the 40's through 60's. These get my attention. And so does the Mustang for whatever reason. It's one of the few exceptions.

That being said, the Cherokee was still the best option for us. We need all that room when it's errands day.
