They're doing an experiment in how NOT to upgrade an existing product.  

Apparently, they're in the process of upgrading user's accounts, and we should all be set w/in the next few days.
 
Not that I see any urge to install it - I only installed the latest 11.x update last week... 12 isn't exactly exciting either.

Just checked my account again and nothing....

They're losing points by the minute...

This has to be the WORST product launch in history (or at least really close to)

It's the way to go. Beta test on new users first.

PT 12 native still has a crippled input monitoring function just like all previous versions. It looks to me like Avid thinks the trend is for collaborating over the internet so that's where the put all their marbles. They have turned their back on home recordist, IMHO.

I'm staying put with PT 11.

staying with PT10/11.  I wont be upgrading.
