Yes, I heard it too, in my truck earlier today... I can hear sub-freqs in the truck, that I don't notice in my studio...
Thank you guys for keepin' it real, and keepin' me straight...

Nice....I like the song .... it's short and sweet.

I have written a few cues.... one of my holiday cues got sent to a "major east coast" production company..... yeah, never heard back.... the bar is very high and they want the (in their opinion) correct piece of music that fits the product or company exactly to sell a feeling..... you can be really good..... which this is, but not on target and .... well..... you know the drill, ......... don't call us, we'll call you.
With a connection like you have.... you should have your own source of leads and inside info and inside track guaranteed to get the tunes on the producers desk.

Nice song, Frank.  It may not be suitable for Walmart, but it should work for something.  Put it in the vault!

I think Danny's description of the bass is accurate. The lows are beefy... thick. At low to moderate levels, its not a bad thing. But... from an engineering point of view, the mix should be neutral and consistent through all media and playback equipment. It is IMO profoundly important to consider how that bass will translate when played very loud on a large system. This is where things start to go wrong for a lot of our mixes (mine included).

Nice, Frank.  Too bad it didn't get used.  BTW- Loved your Santa is coming to town arrangement.

Back in the day (late 60's) I wrote a number of jingles, some of them with Rupert Holmes, and if you get one go for every 10 submitted you're doing really well.
