Ok, thanks all for listening. Majority of the vibe is a good one, enjoyed it and impressed.
Thanks
eko, the instruments are like a glove cos its a well arranged song, I have varied all parts a little but they stay true to the original.
Glad you smiled
Daryl, I too enjoyed taking off those 80's sounding toms!
Thanks
bapu, I see what you "da done" there!
Dont say that
Jonbuoy, if you spent as long as I do singing to myself everyday you would get a decent consistent vocal to carry out that stuff.
Paulo, thanks for your reverb comment. I have to confess that reverb is one of things that I slap on without much attention I've no idea actually what a "good" reverb sounds like. I need to read more.Did you think the reverb tail was too long and echoey or something? Thanks for the other comment, I'm chuckling about the mrs. paulo's dance comments cos I know as a fan simply looking at other imitators never cuts the mustard and I too, get annoyed, so I can only imagine what she said, lol! but I enjoy doing it however, I need to start sticking to my strenghts though!
Mark and
Lynn, big thanks for your constant input. and yes I would consider that pop/rnb vocal my niche anyway.
Robby, as a vocalist glad you liked it and thanks for the bass comment. I too would agree that it is the weakest link, its at the lowest of my register which is really tricky to do.
Janet, to many good musicians around here to waste their time singing everything!
Thanks all, I actually was more worried about intonation of the track, but no one really was concerned with that so I might re-track the end bass part and leave it go.
