I recently download two demo plug ins from Hornet to try out -  SybillaPro and Filter Solo.
I went to insert them in a project I am working in at the moment, and both immediately caused a crash - Sonar crashed and I had to exit and restart - tried it a few times with same result.
I also was trying a demo of Toneboosters Evoke and Sibulance in the same project - no problems with either - on a side note have to say Sibulance is one of, if not the best De-essers I have tried (so I purchased it!)
The project was one I started in X3 64 bit, now using Platinum Pro 64bit, in 64bit windows 7.
After confirming no issues with other plug ins tried an older Hornet plug in I have had for some time - Channel Strip - same thing instant crash!! All Hornet plug ins Vst 2 64bit.
Was wondering if anyone else had had a similar problem - will be contacting Saverio at Hornet now.

Well this was a very strange one - it turned out to be a project specific issue - I have now tried all the Hornet plug ins in new projects created in Platinum, no issues - tried another older project created in X3 and opened in Platinum, no issues.
The original project I posted this about, still crashes as soon as I insert any Hornet plug in, but is OK with other plug ins.
All in all I have no idea why, but unless someone else has had similar strange behavior, this must be one of those odd one off issues.
