Janet

I don't have any new Christmas songs this year...hardly have time to record and never got inspired to do a new one.  I just listened to my 3-year-old Christmas CD and remembered how much I really like this version.  (Actually, I can't believe I came up with this.)  lol   Anyway, so here's my Christmas song for this year.   I'm sure you'll find lots to critique, so comments welcome, as always.  In the meantime, have a very special Christmas, all of you!

Hey Janet, this is awesome!  I like your drum lines as well.
As one of my favorite christmas tunes, I think you did an outstanding job!

Great job Janet! All we need is some bass on this and a few power guitars and we'd give Trans Siberian Orchestra a run for the money! Hahaha! Well done! :)

I thought the same thing as Danny on this...I love the TSO.

Great job Janet. Stands on its own well too. I was looking at maybe doing this one for a special number on the 24th but not sure yet. Love the song and this version of it is phenomenal as is your playing!

Thank you very much, Mike.

Thank you, Marcus.  Now I think I remember a little of how I did this.  I had a few pieces of it but finally realized THAT piece sounded better over THERE.  So it was a lot of cut and paste to get to this point.  Most of the pieces on my CD sound a bit ho-hum to me now, but I still like this one.

Thanks Danny.  Now that would be fun!  :)  I wish bass guitar and guitar players weren't so hard to find around here!    And that thread where you mentioned you'd have to play live.....trying to do this one would kill me.  First of all, I'd have to memorize it, (well, I guess I could print it, then read it, THEN memorize it.  That would be different seeing this written.)  Then of course...all the other parts.  Well, hmmm...maybe when I retire...if I ever do and if I can still play then. :)

Thanks Tim.  You should do a version of this one.  It can be pretty repetitive, but pretty cool.  I think that must be why I changed it up so much.  I wish I could remember my thought process on this one...I just really wanted it to be different and those whacky parts just kept coming out of somewhere.  :)

Thank you, Frank.  I'm still not sure it was me.  :)

Thank you, Lynn!

Great arrangement/performance.  I don't know much about playing the piano but sounds like your hands got a workout.  Sounds wonderful!
