I remember seeing Shawn Philips in the crappy little hell hole where I lived in the late 80's early 90's and, besides the parts of the show where he sat down onstage and had a computer play back a couple of his compositions, the thing that struck me was his custom double neck.

My JTV-69 can do that and more but weighs a hole lot less.
