I liked it. Sounds like something from a Bond film. I think it's crying out for some ethnic percussion in it.

It sounds good... and with a touch of the middle eastern mystique..... 

The snare stuck out as being very dry compared to the other things.

Trying to articulate an instrument which one does not play takes a bit of study and practice to get it sounding good enough to fool a player of that instrument. That comes with time.... but IMHO it sounds good and most folks who are not musicians will never pick up that small nit.

Yes for the drums I used a small room reverb for the entire kit,maybe it does sound a bit odd in the sense all the other instruments have got longish verbs on them ?
 
Learning other instruments is a massive challenge definately !!!!! Its a fun journey though,and like u say the more u do,the better it becomes,so yep defo,keep plodding on !!!!
