As long as you're a real trooper...

I love music, what can I say...

Arrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........................... (TM)

The quack changed my medication this week, and took me off the specific elixir that I'd been instructed not to drink alcohol while imbibing.

So, after nigh on four absolutely and completely dry years (not even a wine gum!), I can't make my mind up on whether to stay on the wagon anyway, or to return to the occasional delights of the traditional ale cask.

I have to be honest, and as some here will know, I do love a good pint or two of decent draught beer.

I simply don't know what to do

Best advice given to me: if you're not sure, wait until tomorrow. Works for plug-ins, it has to work for booze. :P

My mother-in-law just left today, after a week with us. I adore her - and all the family, as a matter of fact - but we spent an entire week tip-toeing around the house and living a very quiet life from 8 pm on. Since we usually live at night, it wasn't all that easy to adapt.

I read half David Copperfield in the last 3 days because I couldn't work on music. I'm sure I liked it very much, and my vocabulary is much better.

But I just fall apart w/o music. It's my other self-medication. So without both, I'm a mess. So tonight, I turn my brain off.

Typical for a Mac user. ;)

A quack would most certainly help find a better medication. But I haven't had the balls, and my love for beer has never been too intrusive in my life.

4 years, mate... Don't rush into it. You're doing good.

I'd say, if you really miss the ale, have a couple now and again as a treat. If you really don't miss it, leave it alone altogether.
