Hi folks,
I would be very appreciative of some feedback on this arrangement and mix.  It's an instrumental cover of the Beatles "Something" - using dobro slide guitar.  I may do another take on the slide guitar as I'm off in a few spots, but I could use some ears on this one to help guide the next steps.  Thanks very much for your time and suggestions.

You can't go wrong doing a Beatles cover. Piano hard left and strings hard right is a nice touch. The only thing I would say is a few times I struggled to hear the piano and the strings. All the parts sound great and over all you did a great job.

I let the next song play and that one sounds awesome and Amazing Grace is great too. Nice vocals on that one.

 Nice recording. Those dobro mistakes must have been tiny as I missed them.You could bring those background instruments up just a hair.I keep waiting to hear vocals habitual I guess. You could certainly add a vocal if you were ever of a mind to.

great job on the dobro... a little pitchy in places, but an easy fix with v-Vocal or Melodyne... the background music is a little lifeless, could use some work..  a great start...

Thanks folks.  Great suggestions.  Notnat - the V-Vocal for cleaning up some of the pitch/intonation rough patches is a great idea.  I will try that.

Funny to hear that tune with dobro but it sounds great. I did the same trip as Marcus and listen to Amazing Grace too - really nice both vocal and play.

Interesting, George would approve he loved the slide guitar, as you already know!!

Thanks so much everyone.  I uploaded a new version incorporating suggestions in thread.  I may need to buy the new Melodyne so I can rifle shoot individual notes...have a couple clams still in the string couplets.
