Everyone is selling Ozone 6.1...

But there is nothing in my account.
I assume an update is imminent...

Based on recent history, Ozone 7 will lose one of the modules and a few useful features, require massively parallel processing to function, and they'll still charge an extra grand for the cool stuff.

I am a big fan of Ozone (version 4) and have previously upgraded three times. But I've skipped the last two versions (I won't call them "upgrades") because they keep messing with things that already work fine, while sucking up ever more CPU cycles in the process.

I have Ozone 5 and upgraded to Ozone 6 but to be truthful I still use Ozone 5.  I would not recommend Ozone 6, for those upgrading.  If you never had Ozone then Ozone 6 would be something to look seriously at.

I own Ozone 5 and got Ozone 6 in the free upgrade grace period.

I only use Ozone 5 , don't like Ozone 6 much.

I don't see anything about Ozone 6.1 at all in my account, no emails nada.

Same here...  I upgraded to Ozone 5 (from v3) not long before Ozone 6 came out since I didn't have any overwhelming need.  But the upgrade price was right and I'm glad I did.

But as much as I like the looks of v6, for a plugin that I use just once at the end of a project, well...

TerraSin
I've been looking and comparing Ozone to WaveLab lately because I'd like to get a good mastering suite but I've been pausing at buying Ozone because I keep hearing a lot of complaints about it. >_<

Don't let all the complaining put you off, TerraSin. We're complaining because the first 4 versions spoiled us for big advances with each new release. Ozone 5 added so little we were disappointed. Ozone 6 actually took away a few features, and although none of them were critical it was still annoying.

IMO you can't do any better than Ozone as a DIY mastering solution without sinking a significant amount of time into self-education and a significant amount of money into multiple plugins. Ozone offers excellent bang for the buck (you get multiple modules for the price of one high-end limiter alone), and best of all, it's a breeze to use for beginners.

I agree 100% with bitflipper.

Before I bought Ozone 5, I also looked at TRacksS.   Ozone 5 won out hands down, especially for a relative novice like myself.

I got the 6.1 update but visually I don't see any difference.
