A very cool, epic song.  I particularly enjoyed how you worked in references to other songs (Smoke On The Water, etc.) and they fit in very naturally.  Great job all around.

Oh yea, this is the side of you that makes me say oh hell yea. Ear candy. Still a bit of prog in this. A bit of Queen inflence in the harmonies? I even likes the prog elements. Epic for sure.

which was never an influence, but certainly i heard a lot of it growing up....
good ole ted was a wildman back in the day, and i guess some of the vox? or some of the solos? might be the thing that triggers your memory...?
ted was never an influence ever, but man, it's rock and roll, almost everything has already been done.
i'm gonna stub my toe on just about everything sooner or later!

yes, a bit prog.
that's kinda my thing, trying to blend some modern progressive into my classic rock influence.
queen, yes.... there is quite a bit of influence there, only in arrangements and song structure--NOT performance!!
