I lived at Lake Atitlan right after college from '75-76.  I learned a lot about marimba bands during that time.

I thoroughly enjoyed this, eko.  One can enjoy a song without understanding the lyrics if the singer can convey the mood of the song.  Back in the 50's there was a song from Japan that became a big hit on top 40 radio.  Nobody understood the lyrics, but the melody and the voice of the lead singer carried the song.  Ritchie Valens had a hit with "La Bamba" which was sung in Spanish, yet it went on to become on of the classic songs of rock music.
My point being;  you don't always have to understand the lyrics to appreciate a good song and the effort that went into it.  BTW, having lived in Guatemala for two years, I do understand and appreciate the lyrics to this fun, but short, song.

Ah you have lived i Guatemala interesting - was it when you were young or in older days? I do remember the Japanese song and how it was a hit all over the world but I don't remember the words was it Naka****a or something? And yes I think Micke did a wonderful voice on this especially the melody that isn't the way I wrote it at all.
Thnx Lynn for your comment

ABull: Hi...I liked the overall sound of this and you did a very good job with the mix -- its sounds very warm and nicely spread across the stereo field. My only nit is that the percussion is not forceful enough -- maybe not high enough in the mix? or eq? -- it sometimes feels as if the song loses the groove in places. Thanks for commenting on my song Til Love Steps In - much appreciated :) Allan Thnx Allan for commenting and give me suggesteion that I can bring on im my nest mix. I use to comment on Songs I hear if I have anything to say, sometimes its just a cheering. Have the best
