I used Sonar to set my effect and volume levels for live performance. I recorded tracks for clipping etc. then took The Pod and  ran it to the PA mixer. The sound was pretty accurate to the tracks. Before I did that the sound was too thin and distorted and I couldn't tell much when we sat up. I'm playing a casino next week and they want me to use just the Pod direct to the board. They have their own Sound and lite guy. Just in case I'm bringing my amp anyway

Nope no ear monitors for me. I get a count off from the drummer. I told Fearless Leader I was NOT buying anything else. I spoke to the guitar player I'm replacing last night. A long talk about this band. I will play the gig as directed. I will not make suggestions. I won't try to improve anything. He has 5 years experience dealing with Fearless Leader. I will do this gig with this band as long as I can stand it. 
 
P.S. I made it very clear to this guy not to ruffle my feathers. He got the message

Apparently ur leader thinks in his mind that HIS band is a bigger deal than they really are.
 
Don't get me wrong, they must be OK or you wouldn't play with them, but take the money and run until something better comes along as far as getting along and harmony(the personal type) .
 
We are too old to be playing juvenile mind games.
