This is one of those things that just happen.
 
Spacey recently sent me some of his mega-hand wound pick-ups for my clunker guitar and I was playing around with getting some groovy sounds with them.  I'd also bought a new drum sample set and I was building patches for that and also working out some verb setups for a project that's long overdue.
 
All these factors came together and this sort of pooped out of the end of that in coupla hours.
 
It's basically a cover of the Smiths' 80's poptastic smash "How soon is now" at heart and I just tacked some nonesense to it and uploaded it.

Reduced song length to a managable 4 minutes down from 7... lol
 
Retracked and pitch corrected verse vox.
 
Cleaned up all manner of little messy bits.

I love this song for its texture, depth, and arrangement.  It's evocative of many styles that I'm familiar with and love.  I'm happy to at long last hear your music, and I hope to hear more.

I like the rhythm of that pulsing tremolo with the beat. 

I would make that snare snap or crack or pop a little more, maybe some more high end. 

And I would beat that dog much harder. . .

Gave me a "Jona Lewie" vibe. It's 'kind of hypnotic actually.
