Jon, this is a good tune.  I never heard the original but this sounds good.  I enjoyed the listen and am impressed with what you did.  Michael must be staying pretty busy, huh?  I haven't seen a Bouy tune for awhile.  Glad you're here.

Just letting you know I listened...

Pretty boxy in the mids (especially the kick), but other than that I loved it.

Neat groove ya' got goin' there JB.  I'd have sworn those trem guitars were a synth.  Loved the feel.

I'm not familiar with the original, but this version really sounds fantastic!  Those Spacey pickups sure sound nice, and I really like the tremolo effect on the guitar.
 
Your vocals are really great on this, the drums are excellent, as always, and the bass sounds amazing.  Is that a synth bass?  If it is, it sounds very convincing.
 
I think the mix is warm and rich sounding with a very polished, pro quality feel.

We have a show here in the states called "Charmed" and it's the theme song for it performed by Love Spit Love. Yours compared to the original is really well done and pretty authentic. That must be a hard vocal to sing because it's so low. Good to hear you again, thanks for sharing. :)
