I imagine I'll see this thing at NAMM later this month.

I also imagine it won't be on sale before then.
(I've been wrong before though)

Well put Beeps.

Build X makes perfect sense and in about 18 months from now that will be de rigure and everyone will have forgotten about Version Control (as in X#) when reporting a SONAR problem.

Glad it makes sense to someone other than the voices in my head... especially someone who knows about computorb stuff. I'm still pretty shaky on computer concepts (I know a little about a LOT so I get lost within concepts very often). But yeah... seems logical and I'm assuming the Bakers have a system in place even though there was a mention in that massive thread that the logistics would need to be worked out. Gswitz initially brought it up in regards to educational material providers (like G3, SWA, the Garrigus and the like) and there was an answer about how they would keep in contact with those providers to hammer out a logical plan.

I'm almost 3 years in to the Sonar experience now so I guess I'm getting into the swing of the inevitable freakout cycle. This one looks like it may be a doozy but honestly I think once the dust settles mostly everyone will be happy.

In other news... it's weird. This new "version" has almost all the EXACT features I had been whining about. I'm starting to think I got hired to the development team but missed the memo... and the paychecks.

OT: I had a dream that I was back in school and I had to study physics, although it felt more like a cocktail of history and philosophy. I noticed one funny thing: one of the books I needed to read contained several topics and one of them was... Bapu!:D Too bad I did not open that page. It would have been interesting to see what it would have contained.

This is a serious problem but I'm going to assume we will start referring to things by Build #s as opposed to version numbers.

So if I have a question about Audiosnap for the forum or tech support I would say "I suxxors at Audiosnap Build #blah... HALP!" instead of "I suxxors at Audiosnap in X3".

Well put Beeps.

The more things change, the more they stay the same!
What's different! The challenge/response is a bit different; BFD!
Have you ever seen so much ado over nothing?
