I've just spent the better part of an afternoon watching YouTube and reading forum posts on how to use the Antares Harmony Engine EVO plugin. So here I am, begging for someone to explain to me how to setup this plugin. The YouTube pukes are great at showing WHAT they did, but they lack in showing HOW they did it.

The main thing I'd like to know is how to automate the harmonies via MIDI control. I have a hardware harmonizer (TC-Helicon Voice Prism Plus). With it, you sing into the unit while a MIDI track (or live keyboard controller) sends the harmony info to Sonar, where it's recorded. But I don't know if you can do this with a plugin.

I bought this program and have an interest in knowing more about it myself.  The only thing I've gleaned from looking at the examples is that they use MIDI notes to activate the voices, and MIDI CC#'s to change parameters within the program.  I believe from reading the manual that you can sing and have the program harmonize with you while the performance is recorded in Sonar, but I don't know how to set that up at this point.  Hopefully someone with some REAL knowledge will come along ...

I miss the days when you bought a piece of software and a nice, thick manual came with it. Now, all these outfits are willing to invest in is a quickstart user guide and a hope that YouTube will do the rest. I'll contact Antares and ask them for some sample MIDI tracks, if they've got any,
