Congrats on being able to go to work!
(Probably the first time I've ever used that phrase...)
I sure hope I don't have to
go anywhere - except maybe for a few live gigs w/ my wife and our band. I do have the luxury of not being had-pressed to come up with something profitable at once, so I'll be looking for gigs I can do at home, working on demos for singers and such...
I'll expand my horizons as I go. Obviously, in an ideal world, I'd be writing jingles, music for films and events and such - and I already have a couple of possible options. But I'm not dead set one one thing, as one needs to be flexible in this business.
I will complete the audition kit for Cirque as soon as I get my acoustic, since I am in Vegas and there may be opportunities, but my wife said she would prefer that I don't get a full-time gig on a Cirque show, due to conflicting schedules. Being together is more important.
