(edited version is after post 25)  the same link takes you to the new version.

I recorded this last year, and since it's that Christmas season again..... I figured I''d get into the spirit of the season a bit by updating it.

http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=11185701

In this version I added and changed up some of the guitar tracks and left others as they were in last years version. There are 8 guitar tracks.... twin clean.... twin not so clean.....two electric rhythm ...and 2 acoustic rhythm tracks..... and trying to keep it as uncluttered as possible with all those things in it.

Then, as if that wasn't bad enough, I took upon myself the monumental task of playing the piano parts.....and trying to get them right. I need to spend more time on the piano.... and get a keyboard with weighted keys because this DS-27s is just too sensitive to the lighter touch of confused fingers.

Anyway... have a listen and enjoy it.

This is song ONE of THREE that I have ready for the holiday season... this is without a doubt the "heaviest" of the bunch.

All right, Greensleeves was ready for an update.  I applaud you for thinking outside the box and making this your own.  The whole production is top notch!  Cheers

This is great, herb.  You would expect, or I would expect that many tracks to sound cluttered.  This doesn't.  Nice full sound, Herb!

In the beginning your chords on the piano is a little uncertain but it became better after that. Nice with so many guitars that sounds so good.I like it.

Kev: Thank you

Bill: On a Bose..... man  I'll bet that sounded good...

Lynn:  I might make this an annual thing..... change this on a yearly basis...

Warren:  I was concerned with 8 guitar tracks.... that is a lot of guitar to make fit

Robbie:..... hummmmm  my favorite western star no doubt.

EKO: yep.... piano is not my main instrument at all..... it's pretty much that way all the way through but I mentioned a while back to someone else here, I really needed to brush up my keyboard skill set.... and I have 2 songs now with piano in them....... you gotta wait for the next one.

Mark: glad you like it

Thank you all for listening.

Can't go wrong with one of the greatest melodies of all time! Love the organ and the harmonized double lead guitars. A little spring reverb would give the first verse a nice surf vibe. Not wild about the piano...maybe try rolling some low end off it, as it sounds a little muddy. Everything else is nicely balanced, good clarity and definition.
