"Robbie:..... hummmmm  my favorite western star no doubt.  "

Something about the production gave me a soundtrack vibe from one of those old spaghetti westerns, but I like those? I think that shot was from "A fist full of dollars."

Well I wasn't expecting that, no vocal!!  So it's The Shadows version of Greensleves, that's a compliment.  Nice mix and playing.

Peace Ben

Now that's cool!  Always love to hear you play the guitar/s and this is no exception.  The piano sounds pretty cool too.  Check the timing at :58-1:00 on a few chords.  The whole mix sounds great!  :)

I love that 'Hank Marvin' style take on the melody at the beginning I also like the way you've switched the guitars around during the song some really nice changes in tones.

That organ sound is to die for, I'm not wild about the piano sound it seems to want knocking back into the background more perhaps some verb to give it some distance from the listener as well as taking it down a few db.

A really good take on an olde English folk tune.  I thoroughly enjoyed that.

Robbie: ahhhh OK now I see...

Ben: I'm glad it surprised you.... thanks

Janet: Yeah.... piano.... uhhh, I almost decided not to include the piano track ...at least not MY piano track.... wink wink... the 1 minute mark... just my piano skills not matching to what the guitars were doing

Beagle: glad you enjoyed it. The western sound I guess is the minor key combined with the bright Telecaster sound. Wirey little sucker.... The solo was the SG.

Jonbouy: The B3.... I kept that track from the "last year" version..... it's a BB track... as is bass and drums.

Good Queen Bess gazes over the prairie, lights a cheroot, loosens her pistol and mutters "Cummon you Spaniard punks, make my day"! I am sure this is exactly how the composer wanted Greensleeves to sound, but could not find an electric socket to plug in his lute! Herb - a truly great piece of music.

Malcolmb:  reading that was almost as fun as recording the song.

Daryl1968: Thank you.
