That keyboard explains it then.  And btw...they're so stinkin' cheap these days....buy a weighted keyboard.  You deserve it.  :)  Also, the fact that all the notes are 60 explains it.  I've never really studied mine, but I've noticed that no key in a chord is the same velocity, which makes sense because your fingers touch at different velocities.  The melody should be the loudest for one.  Otherwise, I'd have to look.  I can't imagine editing those in PRV though.  :(  In the meantime, perhaps pulling them all down a bit more would do the trick.

As far as lining up to the beat...I've never thought about them not actually being on the line.  You can always hit input quantize and set it to 1/16th...that will save some editing.

But really, not everyone will even notice that.

I think I'll call it on this one.... quantize would mess it up if applied across the track....some of that stuff is more like grace notes and the slight hesitation is intentional in a few places.....and quantize would mess that up.

Vince...... glad you enjoyed it....

Yeah, quantize can be a PITB.  I'm just saying for the future...it might help as you input it.  You'll still have to edit it, especially grace notes, but it's close.  And yeah, it's great the way it is.

Hi Herb,

Cool arrangement and mix. I love the dual twangy guitars.

Great job.

I'm sorry I missed this one earlier Herb.

I liked it. Very different take on a classic. Just my cup of tea.

Yo Herb,

I really like this one. Kind of a surf/bolero treatment of Greensleaves. I like the way you stick with the melody most of the way. The tune is so good, you can simply repeat it with harmonics and/or ,slight variations, and it sounds great.

Cool,

Bert
