This is a nice song with good harmonies and Yvonne is doing a great work as well. Rock on Beagle

This is a nice song, Beagle.  It has a smooth feel that contrasts well with your lyrics.  Yours and Yvonne's voices go together so sweetly; in fact, I would like to hear them a little louder, especially Yvonne's.  Ed's bass tones are always rich and round, and this is no exception.  As for the mix, everything is in its place and clear as a bell.  My only nit is that the overall mix sounds sequenced and not quite natural.  Part of it may be due to the drums which sound dated to me.  Without knowing what you're using, it's hard to make a suggestion, but less processing on the drums may help it blend in with the other instruments better.  The only other thought would be to back off on the quantization a bit which would help it to sound less rigid.  Still, I like the song and the strong lyrics.  I hope this helps.

I like the high female vocal in my left ear (if I have the buds in correctly)

Ed's not a bad bass player either :-)

You're lucky to have him. But LEARN TO PLAY THAT DARN BASS REECE! It's not that hard. Playing it really well takes practice... But it is an elemental instrument... That I know you are trying to play, "do not give up."  I colab w/Markno999? He is a master guitar player. I'll never be as good as he is? Even though I've been playing all of my life? But I can play the damn guitar, and I won't give it up. Don't give up on the bass. Having access to people we look up to is a good thing? But don't give up on the bass.

And yes, your vocals are improving. Keep that up as well, good job.

Enjoyed this Reece! Your voice is really coming along nicely. Only major crits in this are the drums seem a bit loud to me and the kick and toms are over-powering everything in my opinion. Kick could probably use a little less beater attack as it makes it a brutal stab. A bit much for a song like this in my humble opinion. But it's also pretty loud in the mix, so dropping it about -2.5 dB may allow it to fit nicely.

Re Lynn's comment about things being sequenced: I hear this also...like there aren't enough different velocities to make it realistic. It doesn't sound robotic or anything, just a bit too evenly played like all the velocities were set to 100 or something. Nothing bad or anything though....sort of subjective you might say.

Those few things should be super easy to fix though and this would be really great. Really nice on the performances though Reece and everyone involved, and I love the song as well as the message. It's good just the way it is...but if I were to make any changes, the above is where I'd start. :)

Enjoyed the song...definitely has a bit much on the drums..made some of the vocals seem to disappear...

Great lyrics and basswork!!

Nice toon Reece...as aways. I agree about the drums, though I wouldn't have known how to say it... except I thought they were a bit heavy.

The song is good, so is the message.

I want to thank Reece (our becan chompin' Beagle) for asking me to play bass on this tune. It's the least I could do for him after all the help he gives me.
