Aside from the bass, this is most definitely not banal.

Sounds great as always I would expect nothing less.   I have to ask - what did you use for the short/room reverb?  Love it.

Oh, and the "annual updates" to the story are just brilliant.

Daryk are those internal rhymes? Brilliant.

I dunno - is that a good thing?

Cool song and quite sad at the same time. I got a Bowie vibe from it. A little Major Tom-ish. Nice job by all involved!

Another excellent, humorous pop treat! Glad you are settling in to Olde England. I'm with Tom on the bass being just a spot too loud, but otherwise, a very pristine, most excellent mix.

Dan

Thanks a lot Dan.
I'll have a look at the bass when I get a moment.

I forget, did we use any barnacles in this song?

Cool! Well done track. A bit sad lyrics but otherwise a nice song. Sounds good.

Thanks Makke. Yes, it is a sad tale.

I love everything about it! What fun lyrics. I'm with the others about the bass coming down a little, but not much because it's the driving force of the song. I've always loved a tightly tuned snare ever since I first heard Bill Bruford, and this is why. Great job all around.

Thanks so much. I really appreciate it.
