Or maybe it's like when the guitarist who stops by your table starts playing surf guitar licks in the middle of a Spanish Gypsy piece with belly dancers, vaguely Asian percussion and a string section. It's an unlikely combination of styles.... none of which I probably have any business playing!
I got Christina to add some "flava" by asking her to say some of the stuff she would have heard her Mom say when she was a kid. As usual, she brought this thing to the next level.
