Not that it's any more powerful it's just more difficult to use.
I don't find this to be the case. The workflow is different. And, if you're coming
from another DAW with "preconceived" notions, then that will certainly make it
more difficult. All DAW's do the exact same thing. They just go about it in different
ways with more or less features.
Clear your mind. Be open to learning new things and all will go smoothly.
We tend to get "stuck" with "only what I know". You wouldn't "know" unless
you took the time to learn it. This is why "What I Know" is now easy.
You've already passed the "learning curve" for Sonar, and that makes it
"seem" easier. Someone coming from Pro Tools to Sonar would probably
feel the same way. They'd be lost, because they'd expect to just "dive right
in", when that's simply not realistic.
I use 7 different DAW's, and they are all relatively simple to use,
even as "in depth" as they are, because I've taken the TIME to learn them.
It's the "HOW" that makes them different.
