Software for making own VST's

Hey!

I know there are applications out there like Synth Maker and Synth Edit that allows you to make your own synth. Is there any similar software for making own effects. It should have the ability to export to VST. So Reactor isnt an option.

In addition to synths, both Flow Stone (formerly known as Synth Maker) and Synth Edit are capable of creating effects.

NI's Reaktor is another one, although they only will work in Reaktor.

Blue Cat has a recently introduced product that looks very strong:

The downside is that it requires the tool to use your developed scripts. If they decide to introduce a free player, I'll be the first in line to grab a copy.
