MetalTeK

I have 2 songs on RN.  Performed, programmed, written , recorded by me.
I would really like to hear them with vox.
It's pretty heavy, but I can do heavier or lighter types of metal or rock if someone male or female is interested.
The best way to get a hold of me would be  http://www.facebook.com/KILLGLOW?ref=hl or at Reverb Nation.
I'd  appreciate any comments on the mix or music also.

Thanks.

Sounds awesome. Do you have lyrics written for these tunes?

I can't sing, but the songs sound great!
Sorry.

Much thanks to all for the kind words.
Taking the time for a quick listen really means a lot.

@Beepster -  Not really. No.  I mean, I kinda have most of one song, but I figured anyone that was really interested would probably want to write their own.  Or I could finish writing them.  Either way.

Metal. The way it works, is that what makes a "song", is the melody and lyrics.

So, you want a vocalist to sing 'something' to your track.
in the end it you would not own any rights to your "song".

So, if I took your track and sang:

The pounding death inside my soul
will take you to the edge
as I chew upon your carcase
on a platter in my bed.

I would own that, and the melody that I used to sing it.
In other words, The Song.

Bah. If I did it I wouldn't be a jerk about that unless it became some kind of monetary success.

Anyway... not giving a commitment as I'm actually about to tear down my studio to move onto better things but if you don't find someone in say a month and a half I could flesh something out for you. I doubt they'd be keeper tracks right off the bat as I haven't done metal vox in quite some time but it might help you just get an idea of what's up with the tunes and find someone more permanent. I used to be quite good once upon a time.

One suggestion I'll make on an artistic level though is in that first song maybe try a different synth keyboard sound. That one is pretty generic and overused particularly in the numetal scene. Those tunes are too heavy and cool to fall into that trap. Personal I'd just toss some wicked leads over top of it but just swapping out the synth for something a little more unique and evil sounding would be cool. Other than that it's great stuff and to my ears quite well produced. Cheers.

@timidi - Sounds pretty ridiculous.  Besides, even if you're right (and I don't think you are), I could write a whole albums worth of that type of music in a couple weeks.

@Beepster - Yea man.  I probably won't find anyone.  Just let me know before you start anything.  I don't want anyone wasting their time.
And, I kinda know what you mean about the synth.  If you decide to do anything later, I'll change it.

Thanks again.

It may be riducilous. But, It IS copyright law. Common sense usually does not apply when it comes to any laws.

As Beepster stated, he would not be a jerk until there was monetary success sort of makes my point.
At that point, sure he could be a jerk unless spelled out at the get go.
Or, you could just forget about all that and rely on the goodness and honesty of our species.

Just sayin.
