Cant you just lock the screenset ?
I don't know maybe im misunderstanding.
Locking a screenset won't stop it changing to a new one when another number is selected.
your right it wont, but going back to the original screenset will only take 1 click.
I believe his/the OP problem (what he is explaining) is he hits a # by accident and all his views, docks, exc are changed (because it switches screensets). Well if he locks his main/original screenset once everything is set up, then even he if bumps a # key by accident, it will only take 1 click to return to his previous set up.
Screensets are amazing and can be used to ones advantage in many different ways.
So rather than curse them, I would suggest the OP simply learns how to manipulate them instead to his advantage.
Cant say I have ever bumped a key by accident and had it blow up my workspace. I set up all my screensets and lock my main 3 screensets. thus never losing my docks, views.
But even if he were to lock just his main screenset, its 1 click to lock it, another click to get back to it.
Screensets are almost like saving a project. You wouldn't expect to click "Exit" by accident and still have your work saved.
Only other option I believe is to disable the key bindings.

Bakers, please think like a user, not a programmer.
One typically changes screensets very rarely.
Actually this is how you think (not every user). I change screensets quite frequently.
We all work in different ways. If you learn to use Screensets to your advantage then you might change them more frequently.
