Hey there Lynn, I sent you a couple of PMs, not sure if you check them here or not.

Sounds great I first posted thinking it sounded muffled, I was wrong as I had bumped some stupid button on my receiver.

Cacti, thanks for your support, I NEED IT! I'll probably do one more crack at it next week based on some additional feedback, but it sucks less than most of my mixes? So that makes me happy :-)

Your playing and singing is great (as always) but there is some punch missing to both the mix and the chorus. Mebee you wanted a more laid back version? I'm confused by the drums then. They seem like they want to move the song during the chorus but the guitars are kinda laid back.

Other than that observation you did a great job.

Ed, thanks very much for listening and commenting. I wish I could look at it from that perspective. The drums driving up to this point and then BLAMIE! And then back down? Unfortunately, it just comes pouring out of me, like a Conquistador in Mexico... I can't control it, or stop it? I wish I could (again, l ike a Conquistador.)

Nice one Robbaay. Never was much into 3Dnight (at all).  This was great though. awesome vocs dude....

Thanks Tim, yeah I can understand, we all have oldies that we love, and others we'd rather not hear, I understand. Thank you for listening, and for commenting.

Hey, Robby,

Super job on this cool, revamped cover!  Great work keeping true to the original focal points while adding your own unique stamp of quality on it.

On my system, the mix sounds really nicely textured, warm, modern sounding and professional.

Excellent!

Yeah, the harmony sounded much better on the whatchamacallit...

That song brings back memories. and at my age they tend to fade fast. but that was great. great mix and great bass. your vocals are awesome and they are well suited for the song.

Oh, I know it's sort of a silly song...I just read about it and that first line was just a placeholder until Hoyt Axton, the lyricist, figured out what to write.  Before he could, they had recorded it and it soared to #1. (I'm sure you knew all that already...thanks to Google, now I do too) :)  Anyway, you know how I rarely know any songs you guys cover around here?  Well, I remember that one.  lol  And whether you like it or not, it would be cool to hear you sing it.

But if you want to continue in the versatility competition, you're gonna have to do opera before long, you know. ;)

Nicely done, Robby!  Not one of my favorite songs but I like the way you do it.  The whole production sounds good to me.
