Thanks. I wouldn't have kept up with that if I hadn't seen this.

Cheers, Larry. Wouldn't have known either.
Question: is it best to do a full download (650 MB) each time we update?

Always been that way Fleer.  It's a new program every time...
I don't think they do "just an update"

Hi Guys,

When I install UVI Workstation (this version and the previous) the Melodyne.vst3 fails scanning with the failure point reported as "createInstance IComponent" and Melody is no longer appearing as a RegionFX.
If I rename the "UVIWorkstationVSTx64.dll" to "UVIWorkstationVSTx64.dll.old" (so it does not get scanned) the Melodyne.vst3 no longer fails scanning and reappears as RegionFX.

This is with the Sonar Platinum (all 3 versions had this problem).
Are you Guys seeing this as well?

Sincerely,
Dennis

Didn't have the problem.  Everything is good on my end in Platinum.

The player is free and you can use it as a sampler player if one isn't familiar with it.

Well... I do seem to have the problem so just to provide a Work around for anyone else who might stumple into this issue:

1. In the Cakewalk Plug-in Manager x64 click Options under VST Configuration
2. Uncheck Re-scan existing plug-ins
3. Go to the VST installation folder of the UVI Workstation VST
4. Rename "UVIWorkstationVSTx64.dll" to "UVIWorkstationVSTx64.dll.old"
5. Back in Cakewalk Plug-in Manager x64 click Scan VST Plug-ins
6. Wait until Scan is completed
7. Rename "UVIWorkstationVSTx64.dll.old" back to "UVIWorkstationVSTx64.dll"
8. Back in Cakewalk Plug-in Manager x64 click Scan VST Plug-ins
9. Wait until Scan is completed

Now both UVI Workstation and Melodyne Essential are registered and Work along side each other

Sincerely,
Dennis
