Thanks for the positive thoughts. My house got swamped but without heat or power it may be quite a while before I can move us back in. My poor town is devastated and it is agonizing to see so many friends (who one would normally lean on for support) being in the same boat or worse. School for the kids is a complete mess. Staying with family waiting for some change to the situation. 

And I had a bunch of songs almost done!

Were you able to save your DAW and your gear?

Sorry to hear that you were adversely affected by Sandy.   While it is tough to deal with these devastating property losses, just glad you and your family made it through OK.   I hope you get to return home and some sense of normalcy soon.
