Ok just a quick little experiment I whiped up over the weekend call A Hole in my Heart.  It's my attempt to marry Pink Floyd, ambient music and loops (loops that I recorded) together.  For me, this is what I want the music I write in the future to sound like.

That's somethin' ya' don't hear every day... strange and unusual... I liked it...

 Ben I definitly hear the Pink Floyd vibe in there. The organs came through loud and clear.

 I  realize that the nature of a lot of electronic music is  repetitive and so please don't take this as anything negative. I would add some more interest into the track to break up the repetitive nature of this track,maybe add a few volume envelopes or a break of some kind in the middle, this is purely just my take. I liked the track.

 The mix is excellent here.

Very experimental sound and concepts. Not my cup of tea but I appreciate the melancony atmosphere.

Nice and Floydee.  Good guitar work and a great start.  As said above, it needs a few more twists and sonic embellishments.  A long languorous lead guitar maybe? 

And drop the claps - it spoiled the time-mood for me - anyway.

I enjoyed it as is.

I wouldn't really call this a song just yet, more like an intro.  It is a good intro and could be the start of something great.  Actually, it's too long for an intro, but too short for a song.  So far, I would give you and incomplete, but I'm hopeful that there's a pearl inside this oyster.

I have always liked your unusual style, and this is no exception. Enjoyed that a lot Ben. Lynn has any crits covered I think.

I like the dissonance in the 1 minute area, but too much of a good thing starts to get old, IMO.  I agree it's a good start, but not enough for a full song.  develop it more, it's worth it.

Thanks guys sorry been out of download hence no remarks in the last week or so. Def this is just me noodling getting an idea down so i can possibly use it latter it def needs work. I'm also trying to get some form on the board I haven't been using sonar or synths or recording in a while so it will take some time to get back into it and get some form on the board.
