I keep on getting this crackling noise when I playback. Even with Asio4all and the buffer size as high as possible. It's really annoying,
Does anyone know how to solve this problem? It happens when I'm around 15 audio tracks or more.

Without knowing what your interface is, computer specs, etc. no one will probably be able to help you...

I use a Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface.

Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU B830 @ 1.80GHz  1.80 GHz
RAM: 8,00 GB (7,82 available)

I use a PC. 64 bits, x64-processor.

Is there anyone that could solve my problems please?

Hi LucianoSee,
Instead if using ASIO4All, use only the ASIO drivers from Focusrite: http://us.focusrite.com/usb-audio-interfaces/scarlett-solo/downloads.

This should fix those crackling noises.

asio4all isnt a good idea. Is it the same with the normal asio or wdm drivers?
also are you running win 7 or 8?
do you have a wifi card installed?

oops I meant I use a laptop, not a pc. And it's running windows 8.
Any idea how to stop audio dropouts?

Also try increasing the IO buffer size to 256/512 or 1024 and see if that helps prefs>audio>sync and caching

I had this problem before I even used an external interface. So I don't think those ASIO drivers would really help.

Okay thanks. I'll check if it works.
