Ok...I'm trying to wade through the Platinum upgrade...which spoofed me prematurely into installing the 64 bit version. So...I'm trying to migrate to 64 bit...with the accompanying duplication of plugins (VST2-32, VST3-32, VST2-64, VST3-64, DX, DXi ).
I used to wonder at those who had hit the limit of 255 (or whatever it was) plugins...and now my scanner says I have in excess of 300 of these bad boys. It will be a
major undertaking to properly identify all the cruft that I've accumulated that I will ultimately
never use.
So...someone tell me
why I'd want to pay
more money for
another channel strip? I mean...certain things come along (like the CA2A/PC2A) that
do end up being a "must have". Can someone honestly say that this is one of them?
Actually...this should have been posted as a response to...
http://forum.cakewalk.com/Now-available-David-Bendeth-Signature-Series-Compressor-m3167421.aspx ...but then I found this whole thread banished to the Software forum.
It'd be kinda rude to post this as a comment to Cakewalk's announcement post. However...this thread...
http://forum.cakewalk.com/Bendeth-signature-m3167473.aspx ...looks more appropriate.
