http://forum.cakewalk.com/i-get-it-apologies-for-the-post-m3167442.aspx#3167442 Ok...I'm trying to wade through the Platinum upgrade...which spoofed me prematurely into installing the 64 bit version. So...I'm trying to migrate to 64 bit...with the accompanying duplication of plugins (VST2-32, VST3-32, VST2-64, VST3-64, DX, DXi ).
I used to wonder at those who had hit the limit of 255 (or whatever it was) plugins...and now my scanner says I have in excess of 300 of these bad boys. It will be a
major undertaking to properly identify all the cruft that I've accumulated that I will ultimately
never use.
So...someone tell me
why I'd want to pay
more money for
another channel strip? I mean...certain things come along (like the CA2A/PC2A) that
do end up being a "must have". Can someone honestly say that this is one of them?
