my biggest gripe with this whole thing is that channel strip control and the plug in don't line up at all, it's very confusing so I end up using the mouse which I hate.
For me there is no point in a next upgrade if this stays as is or if we don't have an option to (that works) map the knobs ourself.

Have Roland indicated they are "investigating" or is working on the issue yet? ^^^

these are known issues, ppl have reported them, ****ed about them and moaned about them already.
It's not supm they have to look under the hood for it's right there on top of everything, since X1. X2a is here and I could very well chalk it up to them not giving a rats ass.
But what do I know?
You keep saying they are fixing these things, you have all this optimism and no proof of such.

I don't need proof to say they are working on bugs issues because they are, and they said they are. I see issues being resolved,  I have no problems, plus things are getting better with me and my VS-700 system, I'm happy, Plus more bugs are being fixed, life if good. Thank God for the VS system, it's my dream come true, really. Good luck, keep ya head up, it's not the end of the world yet!

Glad to read a positive  post.
I enjoy my system too...   just I am learning so much about it.
I will be pleased even more when the bug fixes are done.

I've got PT10. Believe me, PT11 is causing a boatload of issues due to AAX. If you want some fun, go to any of the PT forums and listen to the moaning. It's just the grass is always greener....  BTW.. PT is a true pain in the rear. I have it only for someone who "must  have PT' . 

I use Pro Tools 10HD3 and Sonar X2 every day at work.
They both have their issues. I will say we've had less issues with Sonar X2.
Both get the job done.
