For a few dollars more.

 Exactly.

This is really a big subject. The simple answer is capitalism has, and always will, fail.

You keep posting this, but it is abject nonsense. I can't help wondering if you'd be happier in Cuba.

Mmmm, Cuba. The Malecón. The Nacional. La Bodeguita del medio. Nice.

I like all my Marxist software., esp. my Cuban DAW.  It runs on tubes and paper punch.

I have a Marxist car. It runs on Castro GTX.

Capitalism, per say, is not the issue. IMV unreasonable market pressure is at fault.
Everyone always wants more for less, so the suppliers have to pander to that if they want to prevent their competitors from 'stealing' their customers.

If folk were prepared to actually pay the fair price rather than constantly demanding discounts or going out their way spending $s to get a few cents saving, then there wouldn't be a problem.

If the companies would actually charge a FAIR price in the first place, instead of giving the illusion of "value"
by making the prices artificially HIGH so they can charge a REAL price when it IS on sale...

then none of this would even be necessary....but capitalism doesn't work that way...it works the
opposite, and therefore is, in essence, the problem.

I pity those who think capitalism is "so great". You are fascist idiots. Nobody ever said Marxism is great either. If you are a capitalist and you are religious, your ignorance is just sad. What do you think Moses meant when he said, (paraphrased) "Who stand with your idols and who stands with the lord?"

Capitalism is an exercise in waste. We are literally killing ourselves off in order to make a profit. Sadly though, we'll kill others off first. In case you haven't been paying attention, our oceans are nearing death. As in no more life. Except for the life living deep near the volcanic vents? So as our oceans die, we will soon follow. There are less than half of animal life left since 1970. There was a New York Times article about it. You have to love capitalism if your happy about that.

Make your choice. Do we continue this extreme waste that is capitalism. Living in a dictatorship just like you describe Marxism. Having complete disregard for ourselves and our environment. Or, are we going to realize that we are a collective and work together for the betterment of humanity? Sadly, there is no easy answer but humans have the capacity to learn. The question is, "will we?"

Think of it, everyone working together. It can happen if we let go of the nonsense. Money is an illusion created by those who wish to enslave you. If you think you're not a slave, then you must live on some other planet or are one of the rare, 1 percent. Need proof? Look up the amount of money in circulation and compare it to the amount of debt. You'll notice that both are almost identical. That doesn't even take into account the even more absurd concept of interest. If there are only 2 dollars in the world and I have them and loan you 1 dollar. I want that dollar back with interest. Since there are only 2 dollars in existence, paying me back is impossible. That's why capitalism has always and will always continue to fail. Every civilization before us has failed for the same reason and now it's our turn.

You don't have to listen to me though. Look it up for yourselves. Read books.

Why subscription plans are on the rise? To combat thieves. Therein lies another problem with Capitalism. Ironically, it's because of thieving that gave rise to capitalism. For, capitalism is thievery. Need proof? Read up on US and British corporate history focusing on oil since the late 1800s. Oh, and by the way, did you know that solar power was invented in the late 1800s?

Again, don't take my word for it. Do the research. Sadly, you have to realize which is right wing nonsense and which is legitimate research.

So imagine if humans worked together. Cakewalk's software comes and people say, "Oh wow! these guys have some great ideas. Everyone works on their great ideas until someone else comes up with something better. Then the focus changes and all the while, software keeps getting better and better. This idea of money driving innovation is the most ignorant idea known to humankind.

A question for sharke. (this is hypothetical and in no way would this happen) Would you like capitalism still if I came to your residence and beat you up and took all your stuff? Of course I wouldn't do that. I'm not a capitalist. I would not capitalize on the fact that I am bigger than most people and just beat them up and take their stuff. You might say, "that's not capitalism! That's theft!" Just think about that though. Is it really theft? Of course it is. Now think about why terrorism exists. If I were to do what I mentioned above, it is terrorism. Just like the US and Britain before the US, we have gone into the Middle East and stole there oil by placing dictators in power so we can steal their resources with the dictators permission. Imagine that? We kill people to maintain an industry that is killing all of us. Humans are pathetic aren't they? And this is just a small example of human ignorance. There's a reason why insects are the most successful species on this planet. Wake up!

I stopped reading right there. I think that statement encapsulates your infantile stupidity in a nutshell.
