I have Melda mastering bundle and like it. I have lots of things I only use rarely, but nothing I don't want.

TH2 is the Ducks nuts, it's awesome. I have Th2 Full, S-Gear, Revalver 3, 3dot5, 4, all Studio Devil, GTR, Guitar Rig 3, 5, Amplitube (all modules/Packs, bar half a dozen stomps), and I would rate them

S-Gear (Great Sound and feel, just needs the Bell's and whistles of TH2)

Addictive Drums 1/2, I got the full versions, and a heap off AD Packs, but I decided not to buy anymore, BFD (any version) just blows it out of the water. I tried to like it and use it, but always end up replacing it with BFD. I will use it for the the Reel Machines AD Pack for electronic type music, which is not really my thing, but I sometimes dabble there, but I just don't like the sound of AD, maybe because it's processed, but then I recently got the Oblivion expansion for BFD which is Processed and it is just AWESOME, maybe AD is over processed or just badly processed I don't know, but to me it's just not in the same league as BFD
 
I am thankful to Sonar/Cakewalk through it's bundled stuff for introducing me to things like TH2, Melodyne, Dimension Pro, Rapture, Z3TA 2 (last 3 Cake products I know), All of which I purchased Full versions of because I just loved them to bits, but apart from the Pro Channel stuff, which I brought all the Cake modules, I don't really use any other bundled stuff.
 
 
 

Komplete - Battery and Massive I may have used once or twice.  The Solid Mix series I haven't touched.  I don't care much for the MM bass either.
 
Nomad Factory Blue Tubes - I haven't used the eq's yet.  Tried the reverb and thought it sounded horribly metallic.  Otherwise I like their stuff.
 
AAS Modeling Collection - Most of these will see use except the strum acoustic/electric.
 
SONAR - I haven't used the transient shaper yet, nor the LP effects, but I might. I think most of the P5 effects don't compare with similar included effects.  TH2 I gave up on both out of hatred for the interface and frustration that it might sound really good one time and awful the next.
 
 

Whatever I don't use just means I have not had a use for it (yet!).

Kinda odd for many years I blew off what was in the Kontakt factory library and watching the Kontakt series on MacProVideo there's actually a lot of nice sounds once you start investigating.
 
I was surprised NI made a Battery 4.  Usually any drum library is made for Kontakt.  If you get tired of the numerous drum romplers this would be the app.  A few years ago I wanted to create my own Death Metal drum kit and I found sites were drummers sample their kits that you could download.
 
Sometime I don't use stuff in a DAW because I don't know it's there.
 
 
 

I find it funny when folk say .. I don't make EDM or Prog Rock etc  etc.. but you can find a use for many things either rather obviously or subtly to beef out a sounds (e.g. put a thuddy 808 bd under a drum kick drum and eq accordingly) .. even prog rock type organs were used in recent d&b tunes.
 
I mainly like more bought komplete for kontakt over the years.. BUT am from a sampler background (akai 950 etc).. so don't just stick with the default libs. yep it comes with a load of sounds.. but they are the sounds everyone else has access to also.. so if you are making something , to a point they are good..
 
things like massive were / are really love/hate with people now due to the popularity and it being used so much.
 
try to find use for something you wouldn't normally use, or use it in an odd way.. is what I guess I'm saying.. as some of the best sounding records have been made that way with things that were accidents at the production stage. I guess the most obvious ones for me were guitar fx pedals.. not being used with guitars as input :)
 

Yeah, I don't like TH2's UI either.

Put me down for Battery and Strum.

There's a particular bundled item that I'm making a point of not using - Addictive Drums. It took a ridiculous amount of time to install and required an online connection the whole time. I have more than one computer running Sonar and I didn't bother installing it on the others.
